A Good Quality Victorian Dome Cased Taxidermy White Cockatoo c.1880Origin: English Period: Late Victorian Provenance: Unknown Date: c. 1880 Height: 25. 5 (the whole) The Base: 13. 5 Wide x 9 Deep The stuffed and mounted White or Umbrella Cockatoo, Cacatua alba, in good overall condition, perched amidst a well executed naturalistic setting with butterflies, flora and fauna, under a good quality late Victorian glass dome with gold velvet lining on a rectangular base and raised on an ebonised plinth with gold rope twist
