white flower and tidal pool hints that are also trimmed in enough wood and menthol characters to warrant noting them

but more should develop with a few years of keeping

Giovanni Manetti says that 2011 resulted in some dried berries on the clusters that had to be removed by hand on the sorting table

This is also quite heavily reduced though the energetic flavors display an attractive mineral streak that continues onto the solidly intense finish that is given form by the relatively fine tannins in the context of a villages level wine

It was early days but the wine is honest and pleasing

Medium/full bodied and with a hint of austerity

although a gentle whiff of local orchards does add to the attraction
